What is Horus?
Horus is an intelligent spending tracker for iPhone that shows your spending in three simple numbers — Today, This Week, and This Month. It connects to your bank account securely and gives you real-time insights into where your money goes.
How does Horus connect to my bank?
Horus uses Plaid, a trusted financial infrastructure provider used by thousands of apps, to securely connect to your bank. Your bank login credentials are never stored by Horus — all authentication is handled directly through Plaid's encrypted systems.
Is my financial data safe?
Absolutely. Horus uses bank-level encryption to protect your data. Your credentials are handled entirely by Plaid, and your transaction data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard safeguards. We never sell or share your financial information.
How do spending predictions work?
Horus analyzes your spending patterns over time and lets you predict where you'll end up by the end of the month. You can see which spending category will be #1, track your prediction accuracy, and learn about your own financial habits — turning budgeting into a game.
Which banks are supported?
Horus supports thousands of financial institutions across the United States through Plaid, including major banks like Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, and many more. Most checking, savings, and credit card accounts are supported.
How does subscription detection work?
Horus automatically scans your transactions for recurring charges and identifies subscriptions you may have. It shows you upcoming bills so you're never surprised by a forgotten subscription renewal.
Is Horus free to use?
Horus offers a free tier with core spending tracking features. For advanced features like spending predictions, subscription detection, and detailed category breakdowns, a premium subscription is available with monthly and yearly plans.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your Horus subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Horus, and select Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Why are some transactions missing or delayed?
Transaction availability depends on your bank. Most banks update transactions within 24 hours, but some may take longer. Pending transactions may also appear or disappear as they are processed by your bank. Pull down to refresh in the app to check for the latest data.
Is Horus available on Android?
Horus is currently available exclusively on iPhone. We're focused on delivering the best possible experience on iOS first. Stay tuned for future platform announcements.
How do I reconnect my bank if the connection breaks?
Occasionally, bank connections need to be refreshed due to security updates from your bank. If this happens, Horus will prompt you to reconnect. Simply tap the notification and follow the steps to re-authenticate through Plaid.
